Nephy the Elephant

Welcome back, it’s been so long,

And it’s high time time for another song,

Would you care to hear about a dour cleric?

From a cult both cold and esoteric?

They took lost orphans into their care,

Showed them beauty in despair,

Each child given a skull faced locket,

This holy order was in vogue, and gothic,

They fought undead and demons too,

Led by Nephetina the just and true,

She did not know, she would soon fall to ruin,

And a Prince and Princess, would be her undoing,

Our Lady Nephetina, of the dreary Cult Mortem,

Confronted the Royal siblings, in an effort to thwart them,

They turned their parents to puppets, took control of the realm,

And founded a circus, with them at the helm,

They made many foes, from nobles to radicals,

But their enemies, they turned into clowns and animals,

Nephetina was a heroine, clad in black leather and plate,

Granting Holy protection, from such an ignoble fate,

In the name of her goddess, she sought to prevail,

But the twins had a plan, that made her turn pale,

They sort to do something, she would never expect,

To threaten the orphans, she had sworn to protect,

“While you are busy here, in the palace hall,

Our Royal troops have surrounded them all!”

The twins could not defeat, a cleric of her level,

So they forced her to sign, a deal with a devil,

They swore they would spare, each and every child,

In return she would become a beast, more docile than wild,

Her body went through a number of contortions,

But she first felt her belly balloon to ridiculous proportions,

To her dismay, she grew a big backside,

Fell to all fours, becoming easier to ride,

Her ears stretched out, as big as her head,

Her skin became rough, and the color of lead,

Next came her arms, turning bulky and thick,

A tail popped out from her bottom, and she gave it a flick,

She felt rather silly, as a great big lunk,

And that was before she grew a sizeable trunk!

She would no longer be beautiful and elegant,

Now and forever, a big fat elephant!

Then the Royals admitted what should have enraged her,

For the poor little orphans were never in danger!

Instead compelled to obey, having fallen for their trick,

She was forced to frolic and dance, to circus music.
