Daily Life of a Mouse Girl to Be

Sally had never been what you would call a tall girl. In fact, being barely 5 feet 1 inch tall, most would refer to her as fairly short. One of her biggest fears when she was diagnosed with SHAGA (Syndrome of Human Artificial Genetic Alteration) was to become even smaller. Less than a day afterwards, she lost half a foot. It was a catastrophe to her... but it was just the beginning.

While taking a shower (and noticing how big her bathroom was getting), she felt a lump at the base of her spine. It was getting worse. She was growing a tail. She grabbed a chair so that her head could reach her bathroom mirror. Beside the blooming tail, she noticed that her whole body started to look different. She now had a thin coat of grey fur starting to grow all over her body, her ears were slightly bigger, and, when her mouth opened wide with surprise, she noticed that her front teeth were getting bigger. It looked like she was transforming into a rabbit... or some kind of rodent.

Everything was even worse the next morning. Her feet were killing her as they reshaped themselves into elongated hands of some kind. It was then that she realized that she was turning into a mouse… or, if she was lucky, a mouse-like human.

This afternoon, she went to a store to buy some new clothes that would fit her new body. Shoes weren’t her thing anymore and no bra would fit her anymore. Plus, she’d definitely have to alter all her new clothes to let her newly grown tail out.

One week later, Sally's mutation had finally stopped. She was now only two feet and six inches tall and had to use every bit of her creativity to do any daily task, climbing onto her shelf to grab a book or standing beside her sink to wash the dishes.

Her new life would be significantly harder to live than it used to be.
